In order to enjoy vacations and spend some time away from my busy schedule, I decided to visit the beautiful beaches of Goa, with my kids and family. While thinking of Goa, we all think of a coastal retreat with gleaming sands and high tides with a shimmering sun in the backdrop.

Despite being the smallest state in the country, Goa is one of the nation’s biggest tourist destinations. To enjoy the most happening destination, we planned 4 night and 5 days trip to Goa. (Staring 22 April (Saturday) to 26 April, Wednesday).

Trip Details Of My 4 Nights 5 Days Goa Family Trip

Trip Type: Family Trip
Trip Cost: INR 15,000 Pp
Trip Duration: 4 Nights 5 Days
Inclusion: Stay, Accommodation, Transfers, Sightseeing
Exclusion: Airfare, Lunch, Dinner

Since I put up in Delhi, I booked my direct flight from Delhi to Goa on the 22nd of April. We reached Delhi Airport on time to catch the flight at 11 am and reached Dabolim Airport, Goa by 1:30 pm. The travel executive from Honeymoon Bug was standing at the Goa Airport to welcome us. Since we were a total of 8 people including 4 kids, so we booked Ertiga for the entire vacation.

Day 1: After checking at the SoMy Plaza, which is a 4-star property at Calangute Beach we rested for some time. In the evening we went to Calangute Beach which is a widely famous attraction in Goa among tourists from across the globe for hosting many sports activities. Sandy beaches, beachside cafes, and local markets are the main attractions. The beach is also popular for skydiving.  We had a great evening to ourselves and love strolling the beach while chilling out at the beach shacks.

After exploring the beach and local markets from where we purchased some souvenirs, we came back to the resort and enjoy a gala dinner there. We stayed overnight in the resort and woke up in the morning with fresh Goa vibes.

Day 2: After enjoying a splendid breakfast, which was a part of our Goa package, we headed to north Goa to visit the main sites. North Goa offers sprightly beaches such as Baga, Calangute, Anjuna, etc. that necklace the northern coastline with numerous tons of shacks serving lip-smacking and mocktails to go with Goa’s beaches making your holiday experience complete.

We traveled to north Goa by car. Some of the places we covered in our North Goa trip include Fort Auguda, Anjuna Beach, Vagator Beach, Baga Beach, Candolim Beach, Chapora Fort, etc. We also enjoyed a Dolphin trip and got a chance to see dolphins living in their natural habitat. Dolphin-watching tours are a popular activity in different parts of the Mandovi River and are especially popular at Sinquerim Beach alongside Fort Aguada.

Also, we got a chance to view the beautiful landscapes and picturesque views while traveling along the way.

Day 3: On the third day, we explored Goa on our own and decided to enjoy water sports activities. An astounding view of Baga Beach where we enjoy water activities like jet skiing and parasailing, we enjoyed tasting some local mouthwatering dishes at the nearby café.

I was completely lost in the aura of the place that gave positive vibes to my soul. The water activities didn’t just allow me to run out of the moment, but also let me explore my adventurous skills. Baga Beach is ideal for swimming as well due to its clean, white sand. One can enjoy water sports like parasailing and fishing apart from banana rides and jumper rides.

We left the place in the evening as water activities closes by that time and it was tiring for the kids as well.

We got back to our hotel and rested there for a few hours before heading to Panjim, the capital of Goa, for our dinner cruise.

Day 4: Next day (the fourth day), we got ready to leave for south Goa. The heritage monuments covered in the trip were many Churches at Old Goa like the Basilica of Bom Jesus wherein lie the mortal remains of St Francis Xavier. Also to make our trip spiritual we visited the temples of Mangueshi which are dedicated to Shiva & Shanta Durga Temple, and Kavle dedicated to the Goddess of Peace. After visiting the temples, we stopped at Shere Punjab Restaurant at Panjim for an all-exclusive Punjabi meal.

Goa

The experience of enjoying the fascinating views of the hills and beaches by the side was mesmerizing. Our driver was nicely driving the cab and we interacted with him and with local people, who were all very kind and generous.

On the fifth and the last day of the trip, we made our morning free for packing & personal activities. After checking out of the hotel at 11:00 am, we kept all of our luggage in the resort’s locker room and headed to Calculagne Beach for some last moment shopping. After buying local kajus, fenny, and other stuff, we went to Fat Fish, one of the most popular restaurants in Goa for offering different kinds of fish food.

In the evening, we proceed to the airport to catch the flight at 7:40 pm. We came back to Delhi with sweet memories.

Goa tourism has many exoticness. It is surrounded by exciting places to visit and things to do for all kinds of travelers, so make sure you book the best package to have an unforgettable holiday.
