Day 01: Chennai Arrival

After arriving at the Chennai International Airport, you will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel. Then after getting freshens up, you will be taken to the Chennai City Tour. You will be visiting like Fort St. George, St. Mary's Church, Marina Beach, and St. Thomas Church where the Basilica is built over the tomb of St.Thomas. Then have a visit to the famous Kapaleeswarar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva in Mylapore city. Overnight stay in Chennai.

Day 02: Chennai – Mahabalipuram (50kms 2hrs)

In the morning, drive to explore UNESCO World Heritage Monumental tour in Mahabalipuram, an ancient port city of the Pallavas, visit the famous World Heritage UNESCO sites of Mahabalipuram. The first to the Sea Shore Temple is made for Lord Shiva and Vishnu and the Five Rathas which is a monolithic structure, representing the style at the time of Pallavas. You can also visit the artisan’s streets which are made of stone sculptures. After visiting these places, you would be returning back to the hotel and would be staying back to the hotel..

Day 03: Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry (100kms 2hrs)

In the morning, you will drive to Pondicherry. Check-in to the hotel. In the afternoon, after lunch, you would be starting off your Pondicherry tour. You will be visiting to Sri Aurobindo Ashram which is dedicated to Sri Aurobindo. After that, you will witness The Church of Sacred Heart and Notre Dame Des Anges. After exploring all these places, you will be heading back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 04: Pondicherry Sightseeing

On the fourth day of your tour, you will be visiting Goubert Market. Then, you would be driving to Auroville. You would be heading to Matrimandir. After visiting this, you would be returning back to Pondicherry. Back to your hotel for leisure and night stay at the hotel.

Day 05: Pondicherry - Gangaikondacholapuram - Darasuram – Thanjavur (220kms 5hrs)

After the breakfast, drive to Kumbakonam Temple tour is must and you would be visiting famous places like Shiva Temple at Gangaikondacholapuram which was constructed back in the 11th century by the Chola dynasty. This site is also considered as one of the best World Protected UNESCO Sites. After having lunch in Kumbakonam city, in the late afternoon you would be visiting Chola Temple Airavatesvara Temple in a small village named Darasuram. Then you will be driving to Tanjore (Thanjavur). Overnight stay in Thanjavur.

Day 06: Thanjavur – Trichy (70kms 2hrs)

This is the day for you to explore the Tanjore Sculptural Tour. In the morning, you will visit the famous Tanjore Art Gallery which comprises of various ranges of sculptures and statues. Among all, Saraswati Mahal Library Museum, Brihadeeswara Temple is the one of the biggest temples of the region and it was built by the Chola dynasty back in the 10th century. In the afternoon, visit the Bronze Making Artisan’s Village to see the Bronze Casting and Tanjore Paintings. Then you would be heading to Trichy. After reaching there, you will explore Rockfort Uchchipillayar Temple to visit the famous Ganesha Temple and have a beautiful view of the whole city. Rest in the hotel and stay for a night at the hotel.

Day 07: Trichy – Chettinadu (90kms 2hrs)

In the morning have a Cultural tour to the banks of River Cauvery to see the performance of the rituals by the Hindus and then proceed for Srirangam Spiritual Tour to Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple at Srirangam. Start your drive to explore the Traditional Tour in Chettinadu, the land of Chettiars. Explore the village ambience by walking around the village streets. Have a rest in the hotel. Overnight stay in Chettinadu

Day 08: Trichy – Madurai (100kms 2hrs)

This is the day to feast your eyes when you have to explore Madurai Heritage tour. After having your lunch, you would be visiting popular Gandhi Museum where you can see a lot of exhibits about the life of Mahatma Gandhi who is also known as the Father of the Nation. After that, you will explore Thirumalai Nayak Palace built in the 16th century with grand pillars which is the most attractive places in the region. In the evening, visit the Meenakshi Amman Temple dedicated to Goddess Parvati and a thousand pillared hall with some amazing sculptures and stay at the hotel.

Day 09: Madurai – Rameshwaram (170kms 3hrs)

In the morning, drive to have a Holy Tour to Rameshwaram and also visit to Pamban’s Bridge, is a cantilever bridge on the Palk Strait which connects the Rameshwaram Town on Pamban Island to mainland India. Day 10: Rameshwaram – Kanyakumari (310kms 6hrs)

In the morning, visit the famous Dhanushkodi nestled at the south east of Pamban. The entire town was destroyed by the 1964 cyclone as you can see the ramparts. Drive to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of Indian Penisnsula, where Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal meet. You can also visit the popular Vivekananda Rock Memorial which is a sacred Memorial for the great saint Swami Vivekananda. Then you will visit Mahatma Gandhi Memorial and Kumari Amman Temple. You can also enjoy the sunset in the evening. Overnight stay in Kanyakumari.

Day 11: Kanyakumari – Trivandrum (100kms 3hrs)

In the morning, you will be driving to Trivandrum. Enjoy the Trivandrum City Tour and while on the route, you will also visit Padmanabhapuram Palace, a 15th century palace built by Varma dynasty. Continue your drive and in the evening, you will also see the outer view of Padmanabhaswamy Temple and the destination also offers a blissful small museum closer to the temple that you can surely explore. Stay in Trivandrum .

Day 12: Trivandrum Drop

On the twelve day, you will be ending your tour and will be ending with Tamil Nadu Temple Tour with a lot of sweet memories. You will be transferred to Trivandrum International Airport, Trivandrum as per your flight timings.
