On reaching the NoiBai International Airport, you will meet your tour representative and be transported to your hotel, where you will check in. Then, having taken a rest, start a half-day trip of exploring the cultural and historical center of Vietnam, Hanoi. Pay a visit to Ba Dinh Square, the historic place where President Ho Chi Minh proclaimed independence. Then come to the One Pillar Pagoda, which is an architectural identification of respect and harmony. Go on to the Temple of Literature, the first national university in Vietnam, established in 1070.

Then, later, the 30-minute cyclo ride through the Old Quarter of Hanoi will be full of life with small streets, coffee houses, and colonial houses. The night is at liberty to walk around HoanKiem Lake, or have local Vietnamese meals in the nearby restaurants. Overnight stop in Hanoi at the hotel.

Breakfast, followed by a whole day of sightseeing around the city of Hanoi to explore the eternal wonders of this city. Explore the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex, the Presidential Palace, and the humble stilt house of Ho Chi Minh, evidence of his modest ways of living. Move on to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, where you will be informed of the various ethnic groups and cultural practices in this country.

Have lunch in a local restaurant and then proceed to a local pagoda called Tran Quoc Pagoda, located on the serene West Lake, which is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Hanoi. Explore the Old Quarter, which is an area with craft streets and traditional Vietnamese coffee shops, in the afternoon. You can go shopping for silk items, handicrafts, or even a souvenir. During the night, go to the Water Puppet Show, a traditional art form that describes the local life and folklore of rural Vietnam. Go back to your hotel to have an overnight stay in Hanoi.

Breakfast and then check out and drive to Halong Bay (around 3.5 hours), by a private car. Arrive and board your chosen cruise, receiving a welcome drink, where you will get a safety briefing. Start with a trip across the beautiful emerald waters of Halong Bay, which is filled with limestone karsts and concealed caves.

Lunch is excellent seafood served on board, and the cruise passes by the grand rock formations like Fighting Cock Island and Dog Islet. In the afternoon, go to one of the reputable caves of Halong, such as Sung Sot (Surprise Cave) or ThienCung Cave, to see the natural stalactites and stalagmites.

Spend some time later on kayaking or swimming in the calm waters of the bay. Go on to the deck and have an enchanting sunset experience, and then make spring rolls with a cooking presentation. Savor a grand meal on the ship and relax in the moonlit sky. Stay on the cruise in Halong Bay overnight.

Rise early and see a magnificent sunrise in Halong Bay. Take part in a Tai Chi session on the sundeck or enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the relaxing morning view. Savor a light breakfast, then venture out into a local cave or floating village. When the cruise returns to the harbor, brunch is being served on board. Land about the middle of the day and meet your driver to drive you back to Hanoi.
