TOUR OVERVIEW

Kanyakumari is also referred to as Cape Comorin, Kumari, or KumariMunai. It is also known as the Rocky Mainland of the Indian Subcontinent and is located on the Indian Mainland's southernmost tip. The Laccadive Sea borders it on the west, south, and east. It is the home of the Goddess Parvati. It witnesses the meeting of the Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean, and the Arabian Sea. It is well-known for its towering idol of Tamil poet Thiruvalluvar, which is well worth seeing. It is also unique in that it is the only location where one can see both sunrise and sunset from the same vantage point. It is a magical town that should be visited.

Day 01: Trivandrum Arrival – Kanyakumari (90kms 3hrs)

The trip will begin upon your arrival in Trivandrum at the airport or railway station, where our representative will greet you and show you around the city. Padmanabhaswami Temple, Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, Napier Museum, and Planetarium are among the tourist attractions in Trivandrum. Following our exploration, we will travel to Kanyakumari.

Day 02: Kanyakumari Sightseeing

The day will begin on a sweet note by having breakfast in the hotel which will be followed by going around the city of Kanyakumari. The sightseeing will begin with visiting Sangam and experiencing the magical sight of the confluence of the three water bodies i.e. The Indian Ocean, The Bay of Bengal, and The Arabian Sea. Then we will proceed to Mahatma Gandhi Memorial, which is a pink building and was built in a way that sunshine hits a particular point on his birthday. This s the place where Gandhi Ji’s ashes were kept after his death. Then we will witness sunset at the sunset point and end the tour by visiting Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Kumar Amana Temple. The night will be spent in the hotel.

Day 03: Kanyakumari – Trivandrum Drop (90kms 3hrs)

After breakfast in the hotel, you will be dropped off at Trivandrum at the railway station or the airport for the onward or return journey.
