Day 1: Arrival in Colombo – Bentota

Upon your arrival at Sri Lanka Airport, you would meet our tour representatives to help you transfer to the Bentota also called as “City of the Golden Beaches”. All check-in formalities will be done at hotel so that whole atmosphere at city and beaches that is build to give you the complete relaxation. In fact, you could also partake in the water sports or admire the astounding touristy feel in the area. City tour will be starting with the beautiful boat ride in River Madhu which would be quite an adventure. Experience the scenic views as well as relaxing environs on your boat sail past extensive islets and forested areas with the mangroves. Bentota lets you to easily admire the stunning nature's rhythms. You would be visiting Turtle Hatchery which is chief turtle nesting place. This Turtle Hatchery has been opened by Wild Life Protection Society in 1981. Huge tank filled with the beautiful looking newborn turtle hatchlings are also placed. When the turtles babies are 2 to 4 days' old, then they would be released into sea at dark hours.
